Bouncing Babies
Our regular school year programs return in September! We welcome our very youngest Library patrons (up to 18 months) every Friday morning for baby bounces, songs, and stories in the Deering Room, with time for grown-ups to visit together afterward.

WINSLOW HOMER Lecture Miniseries: "Winslow Homer in England" by Peter Hornby
Please join us for this special, small lecture series focusing in on our major exhibition, In a Place by Himself: The Graphic World of Winslow Homer, on view through November 14. On September 10 at 6 p.m. we welcome Peter Hornby, publisher of "Winslow Homer in England" (2004)for a talk in the museum's galleries.

Please join us for this special, small lecture series focusing in on our major exhibition, In a Place by Himself: The Graphic World of Winslow Homer, on view through November 14. On Friday, September 17, we welcome Thomas A. Denenberge, Chief Curator and Deputy Director of the Portland Museum of Art, to speak about Winslow Homer's work in Maine. The exhibition will be open both before and after the lecture.
