|The Children’s Room offers regular literacy programs for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, as well as special program throughout the year such as our summer reading challenge, nature and science programs and book events. Our regular school year programs engage our youngest museum patrons through stories, songs, games, and crafts. For toddlers our story hour promotes speech and listening skills though repetition and fun challenges. Our preschool program assists in the development of early social and behavioral skills essential for schooling. And our programs for babies stimulate language development and increase their capacity for learning. For an up to date schedule of our weekly and special programs, See below|
